# Netflix Announces Castlevania TV Show For 2017

i had planned to hate Netflix’s Dirk Gently

But despite the oddly coloured jackets the titular character wears and Elijah Wood as his assist-friend i came to the conclusion that it’s not that bad after two episodes.

But it will never erase my dissapointment about the cancellation of the Stephen Mangan and Darren Boyd helmed version of the holistic detective.

they made one fan very happy: trailer for Luke Cage is out

The moment where we see Luke Cage in his “classic” look, seemingly explained through science, made me smile. That’s how i first met the character and therefore has a special place in the comics-corner of my heart.

It seems the series will among other things look at the heroes that don’t have a secret identity and how much bravery it requires and how much danger this decision brings with it, and not only for the titular character.

Netflix teasers for Marvel shows

Shown at SDCC 2016:

  • Defenders teaser

Never was keen on Nirvana, but hey, something big is coming and Stick’s outlook on it isn’t very optimistic.

  • Iron Fist teaser

Not much is shown except that Danny Rand has no use for keys anymore.

  • Luke Cage teaser

Mike Colton’s eyes are where its at. Seriously, he conveys so much just trough his eyes.
The variation of the Daredevil fight sequence with a character with such strenght and a thick skin will be interesting[1].

Iron Fist set photos has posted photos from the set of the Iron Fist tv-show featuring the protagonist Danny Rand portraied by Finn Jones.

I dig his look. After spending so much time in K’un Lun his priorities naturally shifted. And he options for a basic approach on what’s needed in everyday life. On a couple of photos that aren’t on Commingsoon’s site we see him with an iPod tough.
And to all the people that could get a bit louder in stating their discompfort about this look (which he probably will change throughout the proceedings) i can only “quote” this panel from the recent first issue of Power Man & Iron Fist no.1:
